The ZX Spectrum is a home computer made by Clive Sinclair. The computer is the successor to the ZX80 and ZX81. Although the name was initially going to be ZX82, "ZX Spectrum" was chosen to make it clear that the device could work with colors. The computer had to be connected to the television. Notable are the small rubber keys and the key combinations for programming. There were about a thousand games in circulation for the Spectrum.
