The Xbox 360 is a gaming console produced by Microsoft and developed by a partnership of IBM, ATI, Samsung and SiS. The Xbox Network Service allows players to compete against each other online and download arcade games, trailers, TV shows, music videos or rented movies. The Xbox 360 is the successor to the Xbox and competes with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii, both seventh-generation gaming consoles. It is the first console that launched in the three main regions of the world (United States, Europe and Japan) and that supports wireless controllers from the start.
